Cacao Ceremony + Yoga Nidra

Cacao is a sacred plant medicine -- an embodiment elixir, deeply rooting us into our feelings and physical bodies whilst connecting us to our primal wisdom, wishes, secrets and six senses.  We will be drinking raw, unprocessed ceremonial grade cacao from Guatamala that has been blessed and brewed by Willow with some spices and herbs to nourish our bodies, open our minds eye, and activate the healing heart.

Our evening is guided by live instrumental soundscape and chakra meditation yoga nidra practice. We will begin with sacred smudging, invoking in spiritual helpers, ancestors and angels of the highest vibrational light within divine love and end with a crystal bowl soundbath and community meal of vegan chili!

Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. It unlocks the mystical, integrative powers of the subconscious, as well as your higher centers of consciousness, to effortlessly erase your most tenacious, self-destructive habits and behavior patterns. It is said by yogis that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as three hours of sleep.

Thom's music is based on the vibration of the different keys, he is part of the Shruti Nadis band and has played all over the world, a true delight and master of holding space and sharing stories through his palate of music. He will be intuitively creating a soundscape based on the groups energy and divine prescence through the ukulele, ektar, shruti box, drums, shakers, and bells. He designs alot of his own instruments with intention and variety of woods. 

Willow will be our ceremonial guided using the drum, crystal singing bowls, mystical mantra and storytelling, and leading us through a journey - a moving meditation and ritual to invite in vibrancy and love, unity and inner child wonder.

NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS : *Please prepare for this ceremony by fasting two to three hours prior, stay hydrated and don't consume caffeine 24 prior to the ceremony for the best results. If you are taking MOA inhibitors, have high blood pressure, heart problems, pregnancy or dealing with depression please let Willow know before the ceremony so she can explain how to adjust your dose of cacao. 

After ceremony you are invited to stay and join us for a bowl of vegan chili and tea, and beer bread. Please feel free to bring a healthy dish or beverage to share!
